Hello and a big welcome to the web site of the Newbiggin by the Sea Arts Forum.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and recent death of our Secretary, Mariann Harkness. She was an enormous force for good in our organisation and throughout Newbiggin by the Sea, and will be missed very much. Her funeral will take place at 2pm on Friday 4th May at Blyth Crematorium, with the wake at the Old Ship, Newbiggin by the Sea.
It is also with great sadness that we have accepted the resignation of our much loved Chair, Laura Mathieson. Laura has resigned due to ill health, and we wish her a speedy and full recovery. She too has been a dedicated, hard working and enthusiastic member of the steering group since its early days, and will also be much missed by us all. Get well soon, Laura.

We meet: First Monday of every month at the Newbiggin Arts Centre, Woodhorn Road, from 7pm for an art workshop, speaker and social. All are welcome - please join us.
Coming up: Sunday 3rd June. Join us for Cakes and Tiaras: a Jubilee Picnic and Arts Fayre at the Newbiggin Arts Centre from 12noon to 4pm.
We have rooms available for hire and rent!
